Maison & Objet 2017

On September 8th, we visited Maison & Objet in Paris. This trade fair is held twice a year in the Parc des Expositions. In addition to eight large halls of interior design, there are a number of theme pavilions with keynote speakers and exhibitions showing new trends and materials. Of course, we are on the lookout for lighting. At this fair, there are many brands that present furniture and accessories in addition to lamps.

Provided you prepare well, you can visit the show is in just one day. The pavilions are huge, and it's a good 10k walk to see it all. The halls are classified by theme, which makes it transparent.
Below is a selection of the photos we took. Lots of inspirational brands, new collections of well-known brands and also some that we did not know yet. Unfortunately, many booths show little creativity and present in distinctive 'me-too' products. The closer to the main route, the better the quality of the participants. Still, it is great to wander around and get inspired. It is remarkable to see so many companies from the Netherlands.
