Alt Lucialternative, in 1963 opgericht in het Italiaanse Murano, was oorspronkelijk actief als producent van artistiek glaswerk en groeide uit tot een toonaangevende naam op dit gebied. In 1997 begon een nieuw hoofdstuk voor Alt Lucialternative toen werd besloten om decoratieve binnenverlichting te gaan produceren.
